Hi, I'm Danielli de Melo Moura, Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University
Dr. Danielli de Melo Moura has around 10 years of experience in a wide range of civil engineering services including field, laboratory, research, and teaching works. She has provided geotechnical recommendations for various industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects in the United States. Dr. De Melo Moura also has experience in supervising construction/retrofit of earth-filled and roller compacted concrete dams as well as evaluating the conditions of these structures for the Brazilian government.
Dr. de Melo Moura serves as a technical peer-reviewer for the prestigious Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering Journal, the American Rock Mechanics Association (ARMA) and the International Geomechanics Symposium (IGS).
In 2019, she received an award for best poster presentation in the civil engineering track at the 53rd U.S. Rock Mechanics/Geomechanics Symposium held in New York City by ARMA. ARMA is the most important professional and international engineering and scientific society worldwide; which promotes interaction among specialists, practitioners, scholars, and educators in rock mechanics and geomechanics. In 2022, she was selected from a large number of strong nominations to join the class of "Future Leaders" of American Rock Mechanics Association.
